Had a day to scrapbook with Mom. Her agenda was to make sympathy cards, feel better cards and 12x12 layouts for her beach vacation last year. This is one of the Apricot Appeal 12x12 layouts

Straw technique

Using glossy white CS, drop re-inker in 3 colors then begin to blow air through a straw and smear/smudge the ink. I saw this technique online and made a card just like she did so that i could ensure my 1st try turned out right. After this one, I made cards using different re-inker colors and coordinating CS

Faux Metal

Stamp with Versamark on silver CS, cover with clear emboss powder, heat and watch it transform.

Emboss & Sand

Emboss DSP using the Big Shot and Emboss folders. Sand the raised part. Finish off with coordinating ribbon and a sentiment. I saw this on Pinterest with Stamp Girl. She used gray and so saffron and it was pretty so I decided to go with Gray & Crushed Curry

A canvas album by My Minds Eye. Kit included step by step instructions to complete the project. Totally cute!

Birthday Card

Stamp set used is Take a Spin. The DSP is from Ice Cream Parlor. Solid cardstock colors are Melon Mambo and Pacific Point. The game spinner pieces are from Stampin UP! And they really spin. Contact me if you would like to order some.

Cards

Birthday time!! This card was made using Mouthwatering stamp set and the Pennant Parade phrase Wish Big. I used the piercing tool all the way around the 4 sides instead of sewing/stitching. I embossed the ice cream but not the cone. Have fun placing the lil' circles
