This is a card I received in a SWAP. I showed it to a friend and she asked me to make several for her. Since I had supplies out, I decided to make myself a few. SO....if you receive this card in the mail for your birthday, sorry that you had to see it here first. I used the The More the Merrier stamp set across the bottom, colored with marker and used glitter for the frosting. I used Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set for the front of the card, colored the items and then glittered the frosting. I scallop punched the bottom edge of the taken with teal card and used coordinating ribbon to finish is out.

I made these "Thank You" and "Hi" cards using the stamp set Say It With Scallops, the square scallop punch and Pink Flamingo DSP.

I got a wonderful gift Friday. While training a new therapist, Dana, she and I went to a patient's home in Henderson. During the visit, the patient began to tell us numerous life stories and how he was so blessed. As we were leaving, he handed me 2 books that he and his wife have written and published: 1. A Dirty Sink, A Bug, and Squirrels: God Speaks 2. Wait A Minute, God's Still Talking. By Warren & Mary Beth Powell. You can find the first book at Amazon.com and The Scroll in Tyler. The 2nd book is not even on the shelves yet.

I got this layout idea from someone at the November Retreat. I can't remember who, but thanks for the great idea.

For my husband's Valentine card I used the Define your life stamp set for the phrase, the Big Shot for the Top Note die, the scallop envelope and the Join in the Cheer die for the word love. I used the new Sending Love DSP with the Top Note die. Hope you enjoy.
