Day 15: Go and Tell

So the hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. Luke 2:16-18


Day 14: Shepherds were Afraid

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Luke 2:8-12


Day 13: Born in a Manger

Luke 2:6-7

Day 12: No Room in the Inn

While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in clothes and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:6-7

Day 11: Having a Good Attitude

So Joseph went from Nazareth up to Bethlehem for the census. He went with Mary, his fiancee, who was pregnant. Luke 2:1-5 modified

Day 10: Immanuel

...An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"-which means, "God with us." Matthew 1:20-23

Day 8: May is Chosen

...God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth...to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph...The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you." Luke 1:26-28 modified

Day7: Promises

Therefore the Lord himself will give a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

Day 6: Bethlehem

But you, Bethlehem, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will rule over Isreal, whose origins are from old, from ancient times. Micah 5:2

Day 5: Believe

For God so loved the world that he gave his one son and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Day 4: Love

...God is love. 1 John 4:16

Day 3: Creation

The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth...Acts 17:24

Day 2: The Trinity

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. Colossians 1:15-16
