My first try at quilting. I started a 6 month class today and during this experience we will cut fabric, do some designing & sewing and in the end....one finished quilt!

A simple B/W card I made using DSP from Stampin' Up.

This is a WOW challenge I did for April's WOW class Friday night. Last month she gave us a piece of chipboard in the shape of a heart and told us to make something. Well, that is just what I did. I double matted the glass in the frame with 2 pieces of DSP. I covered the chipboard with DSP and sanded the edges. I folded Baja Breeze ribbon (this color will be back July 1) and stapled each fold to hold securely. I added adhesive to adhere the ribbon to back of heart. I added the 2 Baja Breeze felt flowers and brad to the heart and then finished the lower right corner with LOVE letters.

This is what I did during my 3 day weekend. We decided to decorate Maranda's room a little and instead of allowing the underneath portion of her desk to show, I used matching pillow shams to make a front cover. I also got a little practice using my sewing machine which I need for my upcoming quilt class at The Stamp Shack.
